Director General of Police (DGP) YB Khurania told reporters on Sunday that calculated locations all around the pilgrim town are going to be watched by 275 CCTV cameras that are equipped with artificial intelligence (AI).
More than 10,000 police officers will be on the ground according to the top cop. Drone surveillance will support these officers, along with Quick Response Teams (QRTs).
Multiple layers of security troops will be deployed. To protect the coastal area, the Indian Coast Guard would also be positioned near Puri Beach, the DGP said.
Health Concern

For handling any emergency, the Odisha government has organized 265 special hospital beds as well as deployed 64 ambulances and established 69 temporary health centers.
